This happened earlier this week, the video has gone viral and has 5 mil+ views, you probably have already seen it:

FedEx Guy Throwing My Computer Monitor - YouTube

This just happened in Northport.

Front Thu Dec 15 11-39-07 GMT-0500 2011.mp4 - YouTube (http://youtu.be/zjpgvItWZVQ?hd=1 - broken link)

My guess is that they both will (or already have) lost their jobs.

Side question:

When you mail a package, do you use USPS or UPS or FedEx? why?

Oh give them a break. They are all workiing their behinds off these days so us consumers can enjoy the holidays. They are working from early morning to late evening and are under enormous pressure to get everything delivered.

I think if they damage a window, then its bad. But to throw the item on the stoop ; thats ok.

So you think it is too much to expect a package to be delivered not damaged?

They aren't doing it for free, they get paid overtime / double time for extra hours.

UPS has great perks for employees.

depends on the item and how much it weighs, we either use UPS or USPS, never used FedEx

I live in a building and when we get a package they are supposed to call the super...but one time I got a package delivered from Fedex but I never ended up receiving it. I called up Fedex and was told the guy just left it outside on the steps facing a main busy street...and it appears the package had been stolen! Of course someone would steal it! The Fedex guy used terrible judgment! I will never use them, you never know where they might leave your package.
