Default Question: Rachel's Waterside Grill

Has anyone ever dined at Rachel's Waterside Grill? How's the food, ambiance etc. Thanks.

Based upon this review, neither Sam Sifton of the Times nor Marjorie Robins of Newsday have to worry about their job security.

Nothing on that street is worth the price, IMO.

Rachel's is a nice place for lunch or brunch when the weather is nice. The prices are reasonable in comparison to the other restaurants on the Nautical Mile and the brunches include free Mimosas (or at least they used to, I haven't been there since last summer). Overall a good place.

My mom went there and liked it. I think people like EB Elliot's better.

My parents used to eat here at least once a month... they loved it. It's not my cup of tea (I don't eat seafood) but the ambiance is nice... you can see into the canal but it is rather narrow and I always felt like I was on top of the people at the next table. People were friendly enough. All in all, just ok.

FYI, there's a coupon for Rachel's ($20 for $40 worth of food) in today's Newsday deal of the day.
