Was looking at Condo.com and saw Plymouth Village and Windbrooke Homes condos in C.I. Has anyone seen these condos/areas or have any experience. Good/bad/safe areas-neighborhoods? Prices appear to be along my line.

As long as you don't plan on walking the streets at 2am there is nothing wrong with CI condos.

Other than saying don't walk streets at 2am I did not say there is anything wrong with Central Islip. Unless your character of friends Crooks walk around neighborhoods at 2am. Afterall...there is a Home Depot,a Target ,a Carrabbas and a great hamburger joint. What else does one need?

Nice complex there in CI.

That whole are is under some type of developmental program, which is why the new Target, TGIF's and Home Depot ended up there. Cheap golf right there too. Quick access to Southern State Pky and LIE.

It looks fine. You have the Ducks less than 1/2 mile away and as others pointed out, a shopping center right there. BUT, to be fair, there is a VERY sketchy area just north of you (and I mean JUST north) and there are the courts just south of you (plus to that, cops around during business hours. minus to that, criminals around during business hours). Depending on where you live, I'd say it's worth driving over there and taking a look.
