Has anyone received a request to participate in a tax cap survey? Posted on Miller Place School District's web site is a request to participate in a tax cap survey. I started the survey but was taken back by the one sided questions. I was curious if other school districts are trying this. If you go to the Miller Place School District web site, www.millerplace.k12.ny.us the tax cap survey will be on the home page.

No I have been here for many years, but this is the first time I have seen this tactic has been used. I find the survey very condescending and misleading. The survey seems to represent the Suffolk County Superintendent's Association, so I thought it may have been given county wide.

I just looked at it.

It definitely does. It also looks like its a form for all of Suffolk County per the drop box at the end.

The problem over there is the same as over here.Sound Beach is not paying its fair share.RP has the double whammy of educating Sound Beach and North Shore Beach so all of the tax burden buries folks closer to the top.

People are living in those areas paying 4-6k sending 3+ kids to the schools and bitching up a storm....its wrong.
Its so wrong.

They really ought to reassess all of Sound Beach and North Shore Beach.I suspect its coming soon.
No free rides.
