Hello, my father in law is 70+ and only speaks Cantonese. He is originally from California where there are programs/community centers that provides transportation to pick him up. He would spend half to a full day there where they provide food and entertainment for him, then they transport him back home.
We will be moving to Syosset shortly so we are wondering if there is anything like that here, thank you.

If you call the Town of Oyster Bay they should be able to tell you. Most (if not all) Towns on Long Island have Senior Citizens Centers; services vary from Town to Town - some offer more than others. If you can't get the information, let me know and I'll try to help you!
