Default Mangano hires 4 DOUBLE DIPPING Police Officials

Nassau County PD Acting Police Commissioner receives 6 FIGURE NYPD PENSION + $225,000 salary plus full benefits as NCPD Commissioner

Three Assistants PC's who have 6 FIGURE PENSIONS from the FBI and NYPD + $150,000 salary with full benefits.

The Ed Mangano Way......playing politics with your safety by closing precincts while giving $100,000 patronage jobs to his friends Al Damato's daughter as well as DOUBLE DIPPING friends!

Don't you love how Nassau Republicans are cutting government?

He should cut those patronage positions and then hire some new recruits at much lowers salaries to cut all of your buddies overtime so that the average beat cop isn't pulling 150K a year with free pension and medical for life on the taxpayers back.

Free pension? A pension is earned......if you want a pension take a civil service job. Call this number 212-RECRUIT. The NYPD provides a so called free pension, free medical, and $100K salary with overtime.

I understand you are scared to be a cop in a NYC Housing project of Subway station.....but come on! Its such an easy job for freebies right?

Seems that the school district costs -- in particular what we pay teachers for six hours a day, 180 days a year -- costs me a whole lot more in taxes than the cops do.

You have zero credibility, skippy.

You already know the answer to that line of BS. The polce departments on LI are much more expensive per head than the schools. 2,000 cops and staff vs 10,000+ teachers plus staff? Please.

Let's see where you credibility comes from: You're a cop and you've reaped the benefits of being a cop. No bias there.

Have you read the paper lately? How many cops have been shot in the last 6 months in nyc / li?

Maybe I misunderstood? Are you inferring that the job isn't dangerous?

Mangano needs to hire new cops. New hires would be making around $40k instead of all the veterans that are on the job now racking up crazy OT.
