I just find it odd that the counties need to test the water each year and provide a report showing the water is good. I'm sure there are better ways the gov't can spend our tax dollars.
Any know the history behind why this is so. Is there a concern that the water may not be clean? Why were they mandated to do this?
Before buying a house in Bay Shore get the land and basememnt tested for contamination by an independant company (NOT National Grid)
There are several homes that are atop toxic clusters due to the plume from the 1970's. you can even google "toxic plume Bay Shore" for some more info.
