Default info/reviews re: Patchogue YMCA preschool & prince of peace school in sayville

Any parents have kids in the Patchogue YMCA preschool program? Do you like it?

What about Prince of Peace School in Sayville? i found reviews on greatschools.com but i would like a little bit more input- considering this for kindergarten in 2013

Well since Prince of Peace is closing in June, thats not really going to work for you....

There is another Catholic Elem School in Patchogue and there's St. Josephs in Ronkonkoma as well.

Prince of peace is def closing. Holy angels is in Patchogue, and there is St. Joe's in Ronk. There is also Our lady in Center Moriches and St. Mary's in Islip.

St. Marys is way more expensive though. St Joes is really not that well reviewed. I am trying to avoid patchogue even though i live here so Holy Angels is out.

Ideally i want a cost effective private but that doesnt exist on LI, all the privates are like 15k and up.

Any input on the YMCA??? The prices are reasonable and i could use the gym while the kids are tehre but i am worried going in blindly without positive reviews.

I know 2 friends who have their kids at the Y in Patchogue and love it. I don't have any specific details except that they were really pleased with it overall.
