I was selected for a great job in northern VA (Warrenton)...sort of a once in a career opportunity. I'm a bit overwhelmed....we leave in 5 weeks! I know enough about that area to know it's a good place to live.
We are going to take beating on our house. Even the government re-lo program can't save us form the market. However in a week or two I'll be able to report what the current market conditions are in Sound Beach (as if we didn't know).

I think you know what current market conditions in your area are and being close to a fairly busy street won't help. But it looks nice and well maintained, at least from the outside - that'll help.

Good luck. It will be a great change. Price the house well so it will sell ; we had an offer in 15 days. Just be careful of the appraisels ; they are doing those low now.
