On the Northshore ; Wading River is very pretty and schools are excellent.

Anywhere on Long Island ; just be prepared to pay enormous taxes.
Sayville schools have dropped off and Shoreham-Wading River district is under funded.

So basically you're saying every school district has issues.

OP every town is worth buying in. They all tax you too much and don't provide exactly what you need in one way or another. I know I am being cynical but i want to see the continued fall out from the test scandal on these high performing districts.

I grew up in Qns, i live on the south shore... north shore is dirty, just go to the beach and go in the water.
Then go to the south shore and go to the beach and go in the water.

What part of nyc did you grow up in ?

And whenever it rains hard they close north shore beaches because of fecal contamination.
