Again please read my post. They did not go up on the pole. The line that was already coming down to my home is what the used. I had this conversation with crooks already. I held onto my DSL because I realize i was getting FIOS speeds and did not want to make the change but they kept messing with me.

I did, and as I said...you cannot use the copper drop you were using for DSL for fios. You have a new fiber drop.

And as I said they did not climb up to do anything. Again my whole fight with Verizon before i switched was because i did not want to give up DSL. The lines on my block which is only 5 homes must be all fiber. Same thing when they came to do my neighbor. They used what was already running to the house.

Oh yes I have the big ugly box and all the fiber crap but they did not drop a new line.

Default Personally..

I think they both s*ck. Tons of channels with nothing on except reality shows. And commercial after commercial; so much for cable being commercial free.

Have been considering ditching my fios triple and just keeping the INTERNET since I don;t really use the landline and I don't really watch the useless tv.

Too bad these companies don't offer unbundled services...

Yea, OK. I'm a fiber splicer/installer for VZ. The drop IS fiber. Keep believing the crap cv is feeding you.

Cablevision reps are stopping down pretty low to get a quick sale They are still serving your whole neighborhood on a single node, they are still ran on copper cables( very limited bandwidth) and their boost plus says 50 mbs download speed and only 8 mbs upload speed.Fios is upgrading my building next month and I can't wait to switch. I have their so called boost plus and I always get a Max of 30mbs download and 7 mbs up so stay with the Fios option if you don't want to be lied to

Can I likely get the two of them to make offers moving into a new home? I've had Cablevision for a while, but I am willing to change or at least offer to if it will give me a better deal.

CV is AWFUL!

We constantly get service so slow during peak hours that it will temporarily drop our wireless (our wired works, just super slow).
