Favorite LI dive bars (Huntington, Levittown: house, pool, horse)

I like dumpy bars. Dunno why. I like Murph's in Franklin Square, Iron Horse in Glen Head and Partners in Sea Cliff. What's yours?

Gunther's in Northport. Finnegan's in Huntington Village. I also love the Valencia Tavern which just turned 100, but don't get there very often.

I used to love My Shed where I would guzzle pints of Georgi vodka without my wife knowing it. Aaah...the good old days. Haven't been there in over ten years.

Checkmate in Setauket, Tara in Port Jeff. Tara is in the seedier side of PJV, adding to the ambiance.

I don't go to bars anymore but when I did I liked to go to Croxley's ale house and Connelly station.

I used to go to the Parkside in Levittown. I guess it's a dive? It was pretty cool, pool tables, jukebox, usually not too crowded, also had photohunt at one point.
