I agree....also, on another board (not even sure if it's CD) people were talking about how school districts need to start tracking how many of their grads actually COMPLETE college, since all these coddled Special Snowflakes seem to have a problem accomplishing what was once considered a fairly simple task.

Thanks. I've actually seen that before and forgot about it. Whew - getting a much higher ROI since I moved!

Massapequa's is good. Huntington's is terrible, sorry to say.

H Frank Carey is in the Sewanhaka Central School District. That's why you're not seeing it under Franklin Square. Go to Sewanhaka and pull up Carey HS. Kunk10 is right. The biggest thing that hurt Carey is only 59% going on to 4-year College and 54% with advanced regents designation.

H Frank Carey HS* (Sewanhaka) - 96 59 59 95 54 54 98 65 79 25 37 721 72.1

I agree with you on the other stuff. Extracurriculars, sports, parent involvement, electives, etc are all things that add to the quality of a school.
Yes, I know, thanks. The point I'm getting at is when I try to conduct my own search and pull up either the school report card or test scores, it only shows the test results and other stats for 7th and 8th grade ONLY. How can I see results for test and other stats for each individual grade the way they break down 7&8?

Now the college thing has me wondering-what if students decide to attend college, let's say, 2 or 5 years after they graduated high school? Is that tracked in these rankings or are the college rankings based on college attendance IMMEDIATELY after high school? Know what I'm sayin'?

Do they have it broken out by County Peqs?

The Hamptons stuff is always way flukey in Suffolk.

I was surprised to see Commack over Massapequa
It seems cleaner when we look at it at the County level even with a Nassau advantage.
