Makinajian Poultry Farm & Country Store

Makanajian Poultry Farm -- Cuba Hill Road in Huntington

Store
Benners Farm -- Gnarled Hollow and Old Town Rd in East Setauket.

If you have children, they will love visiting either place.

Yes! Had a chicken coop for a while when I lived in Cold Spring Harbor, collected fresh eggs every day (or every other day) and there is a difference

Depends what you mean by a "few miles." There are fresh eggs all over the North Fork. Many sitting on roadside stands with a coffee can to drop your money in.
