That's something I was pondering while writing the post...North Massapequa and North Wantagh probably not because they aren't in the Riviera SD's, while North Bellmore and North Merrick probably yes because they belong to that Central HS district, though they both have their own elementary districts...

What do you guys think of the smithtown areas? Odd how it seems it's the only township without 1 somewhat impoverished area, very solid middle class area, with pockets of affluence.

I've been there a few times, it's appearance was good.

One thing that affects the area negatively is it being known as having a very large heroin problem. It's considered the heroin capital of Long Island.

Most of Freeport is actually nice. It's just the area along the LIRR line that is rough-looking.
I grew up in Freeport. Much of the area has changed, but the Port area with all of the great seafood restaurants is still very nice.

I think the northside is also nice too. It kinda reminds me of a mini Garden City (in terms of the look of the houses/neighborhood).. I think it's called Stearns Park?

Rustic Rd (by the funeral home and Johnny's Burgers) is very hilly at the southern end. I believe that is Ronkonkoma on that end.
