I live in south central Nassau, and am looking for a moving company to pack a moving truck that I rented.

I don't have a lot of things, and I simply need two people for two hours - yet most companies have a five hour minimum.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

need people to pack your stuff in boxes, or just do the heavy lifting into a truck?
If you just need to hire some muscle on the cheap I used some guys in the past and they were awesome. 2 guys, 2 hour minimum.

DM me if you want their contact info.

Maybe somebody has a bad back and doesn't want to lift dozens of boxes, but also doesn't want to pay a moving company exorbitant amounts to do the whole job?

I am using this online company (job is not done yet, so have to see), but so far has been very straightforward and professional:

Movers & Moving Labor | HireAHelper.com

They coordinate between multiple moving companies.
Online you can choose your options, incl. 2 people for 2 hours, and then an hourly rate if extra time is needed.
You pay by secure credit card to "hireahelp", not to the movers themselves.

Pricing is reasonable.
