Trader Joe's locations (Commack, Plainview, Hauppauge: home, shopping center, island)

Hi. Can anyone tell me what the closest Trader Joe's locations would be to either Westbury or Hauppauge? I've checked their list, but I was never really familiar with the towns on the Island. My husband's up there visiting right now, and I told him he's gotta bring home some goods since we don't have TJ's down here.

I believe the closest one to Hauppauge is the one in Lake Grove next to Smithaven Mall (off Alexander Avenue in same shopping center as Circuit City). The one in Commack may also be close (never been to that one). My guess as to closest to Westbury is probably the Plainview location.

THanks for that info. Which is the nicer one, do you think. Commack or Lake Grove? I have never been to the Lake Grove one. I never knew that it was in that shopping center where the old OTB was. And, I drove up and down on 347 looking for it.

My wife went to both TJ's in Commack and Lake Grove. The one is LG is easy to find...it's next to Circuit City, where the IHOP is. The TJ's in Commack is nice too...set up differently, but nice just the same. That store is awesome! Have fun shopping!
