LIPA - I don't have any problems with them. Reporting outages results in calls back with accurate updates as to when it will be restored and it often is. I would've thought LIRR would be worse. My LIPA bill has been like $60/mo. for a colonial. Unreal!

multiple airlines on that list...

Lipa is on my list after they decided to do 3 nights worth of 11pm-5am work outside my window. Including normal construction noise, yelling between workers, ignoring our calls to them asking WTF is going on and diesel trucks running all night. After repeated calls to management all they could give us was a measly 15$ credit to our bill for the inconvenience.

I didn't even have a flicker of outage during Irene though.

I agree with you. LIRR is much worse. I have never had any problems with LIPA and the last time the power went out I called their service line and they were very accurate with the restoration time provided.

Yeah people are stupid if they think what they put out there on the internet is private. Stupid people make me laugh
