Also the past winter was mild...deer die-off was probably lower.
They need to cull these herds before more people are killed in traffic accidents.
I was leaving wonderful and beautiful Rocky Point one early morning, travelling south on Cty Road 21, and felt like I was in a Steven King movie...the EYES...the EYES...all staring at the road. Must have been 20 plus deer along the road..adults, yearlings, fawns......and that was just by the road.
No that means theres the same amount of deer as always but less space to rome around also your
sarcasm is pathetic.
It could very well be that there are actually more deer around as opposed to less space for the deer population because of overdevelopment. Or both. I notice many more deer in Caumsett and I know there is no development in Caumsett therefore I jump to no conclusion about overdevelopment.
