I know what you are saying but, things are different when you have to go to work everyday. Not everyone can just pickup and leave everything behind and start fresh. I grew up without an extended family and I can honestly say it is not the way I want to raise my kids.

Ha, I was going to post about that when it aired because I think Long Islanders are like Californians in the sense we seem to talk about different routes to get to places faster. I figured it's a byproduct of the traffic. Though, as bad as the traffic is here, LA was atrocious.
