I know what you are saying but, things are different when you have to go to work everyday. Not everyone can just pickup and leave everything behind and start fresh. I grew up without an extended family and I can honestly say it is not the way I want to raise my kids.

I lived there......it's worse!! And then add in the earthquakes, mudslides, fires......it was no joy. And the traffic!!!!!!!!!!!

But La Jolla...yeah........I even know what road I'd buy on!
