That's the point and draw of incorporated police dept. More patrols, more well known therefore less crimes overall than if they did not exist (police).

ANY busy road that is a thru street is a target for crimes, and a quick get-away. Again, I would suspect that you are referring to the section of Stewart Ave up by the mall, no? Which is the outskirts of GC...and far enough from the residential quiet streets and neighborhoods that GC has to offer.

More likely not in Garden City at all. Very few spots on Stewart Ave. in Garden City proper that aren't residential. East Garden City, Garden City South, Garden City Park and Stewart Manor are all a totally different story than GC itself.

You could blindfold me and drive me down Clinton Rd., I'd still be able to tell you the second we crossed the Hempstead/GC border. Despite touching backyard-to-backyard both areas are about as far removed from each other as you can get. The only crossover is the Cathedral Gardens section of Hempstead which anyone would easily mistake for Garden City if they weren't able to identify the color of skin pigments.

Default Fond memories

There used to be a lab supply place that sold to the public in Garden City, called Conso-Labs. When I was 13 - 14, I used to ride my bike out there from Queens. It was right down the street from Endo Labs, a drug company...some people might recall it.

That's how I learned about thin layer chromatography.

so yeah....i'm guessing everyone on this forum is a Republican, right? So blatantly rascist, it's downright sickening. You are so worried about the developments in Hempstead but you are the reason why Long Island fails and will always fail. Many guess at why young people move away from Long Island running and screaming as soon as they have enough money to do so - and you posters are living proof of the real reasons WHY:

1. Corruption - political, economic, and social AND
2. RASCISM
