Thanks.
This will help.
I spoke with Isabelle--very intelligent, will show me from Smithtown to Baiting Hollow.
That's a cute name.
When I used to drive out to Southold years ago, every time I'd pass the exit "Shirley Wading River" I'd imagine a blowsy blond middle aged woman in a one piece bathing suit a bit overweight, wading into a river. I had her in my mind like a character. She was always there wading into a river. Shirley.
Thats funny.

That area of town has the power lines running through it.

Could be a deterrent.

I like The Historic District/Culross/Terraces/Friendship Beach near Soundview.

King Road/Prince Road

Flat ...but Im not a fan.

Good news is that Rails to Trails may be coming in
RockyPointCivic.org
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy:: Creating a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines:: Building healthier places for healthier people.

That could be a real winner for that area.
Hopefully they wont NIMBY it to death.

In old Rocky Point, I like Clamboy's area near the water off Nautilus. My area is actually pretty nice, which is the northern Locust Drive near Walnut and Maple Roads. All the neighbors know each other and all keep their homes beautiful. Theres a house up the road from me for sale

I like houses with character...I have quirky tastes.

No shortage of them around here.

Yeah, I actually don't like it that much either, it's not one of the nicer houses on my block. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Default I like Victorians

That's actually pretty interesting, not as close to the homes Cboy pm'ed me and he picked out what are according to him and I'm sure he's right his favorite pretty areas. OTOH a short sale is obviously interesting. No pics of inside, built in 89? Hmmm.
I guess I will email Isabelle tomorrow all the stuff you guys found me.
THANKS

40x92 is a substandard lot size.

May be shaky as an investment.

Its very small for the area and I cant see whats around it

Where is it...the house itself looks fine

I woulnd buy less than 80x100 if I could avoid it

Id hold out for a basement too

Mistle Road, near the clubhouse. I do agree about the lot size though, my neighbors are on 40x100 and it's a tight fit. However the way this house is situated, it actually looks nice on the property.
