We are looking for a decent (no scam) dentist (family) and pediatrician in rocky point miller place area. We have been using Total Dental Care in Middle Island and Gentle Dental in WR but they are close to butchers/scammers and the current pediatrician is bussy with personal stuff and not focused on his job.
One of my friends raves about her pediatrician in Mount Sinai, Dr. Nataloni. When we lived out east we used Dr. Campisi in Wading River for their dentist. He was ok, never felt like he ripped us off.
I use Personal Pediatrics on Sylvan Place in Miller Place. The practice has Dr. Kolker(male) and two female doctors who are sisters: Jennifer and Lauren Byrne. I have been going to this practice for about 9 years, and I have been pleased. The doctors seem responsive and easy to reach. I take my child to a pediatric dentist, Kiddsmiles, with locations in Holbrook and N. Babylon. I couldn't be more pleased with them. For my general dentist needs, I have begun seeing Dr. Durgan, in Mt. Sinai. I have met with him on two occasions, and he made me feel very comfortable. I have not had any work done yet. He was recommended to me by my Periodontist. Good Luck.
I would recommend Modern Dentistry in Port Jefferson. Excellent dentist office, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. And the 2 dentists are amazing and actually take time with their patients, rather than just doing a cursory exam and bolting like some dentists do.
Not sure if he's still practising, but my pediatrician was Dr. Gerald Hartman in Port Jeff Station. He was a really nice man, and if his practice is still open, I would recommend him.
