We watched it and it was even mentioned in passing on Regis this AM. Had to cringe when the cook dropped the chicken wing and nonchalantly put it back in the frying pan as if it was nothing unusual - when Gordon Ramsey admonished him, he said it was being 'sterilized' in the frying pan (yuck!). The new sign was nice (how could they not have had one - ?!) and I hope they do well. Enjoyed the updates (in one case with the son who worked w/ his mother and whose heart really wasnt in the biz, it was mentioned that about 5 mos after the makeover, he sold it). Last week the owner was upset at the suggestions and ended up doing things his own way (after fightin w/ GR, he cried as he was explaining his feelings, he had a huge confusing menu w/ a ton of photos etc), w/h liked to know the followup on his restaurant, he wasnt open to suggestions (for the most part) and even the wait staff was confused. Simple is better and healthy is the way to go (not all the fried foods they had last nite). It sure is an eyeopener, wish they'd portray restaurants in other areas too!

I worked (well worked) in the industry as well as was on one.

Proof?
Good luck, all contestants and people working on them are made to sign COD's (Confidentiality of Disclosure) agreements.

These shows are put together outside studios on private locations to beat the unions. The conglomerates that own the TV networks want to bust the unions and high paid talent.
They have been bringing in writers and production companies from the UK for the past 4 years.
Note how many Britt’s you now see on TV in the past 4 years as well as clones of British TV shows.

They have figured out the fact.
If you feed viewers crap long enough they think its a meal !

These shows all have one thing in common:
1-T&A
2-Voyer
3-Humilation
4-Bad Acting/Performance
5-Cliff hanger hooks

I personally dont find that entertaining.
