Default Anyone familiar with Foxwood Village in Calverton?

I'm new to these forums...but sounds like I could get alot of info.

My husband and I are turning 58...we have been living in Hicksville for 25 years and think we have had enough!

I'd like to move further east...a little more countrified, but the condo communities are really expensive. Not just the cost of the condo, but then figure in the maintenance fees and taxes..and that can really add up.

On MLSLI I saw photos of manufactured houses in Foxwood Village and they really seem nice. Thought maybe someone reading this could give me some feedback or any suggestions.

We were thinking of leaving LI for someplace drivable...but when you think of crossing the GW Bridge to leave NY you could be looking at an extra 2 hours of traffic to add to the travel time. My grown kids are still on LI and I wouldn't want to move too far.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We just looked at them. It is really really nice. Close to Tanger Outlets which I found to be incredible. The homes have garages and basements. It wasn't working for us because we have 2 large dogs, but I reallly liked it there.

Default very nice community

My parents owned a home in there...very nice community...they have since sold and moved to NC...but they really liked it in there...you're close to everything...Route 58 shopping, Tanger Outlets, Wineries along the North Fork...the homes are really nice...they take very good care of the community...We came from West Islip....
