Any reputable roofers?

I called Nassau Roofers in Bellmore to perform an estimate on roof repair that my HO Insurance believes needs to be repaired when they performed their appraisal on the home. Nassau Roofers came to my home and their assessment is that its doesn't need repair and the "raised" shingles that the appraiser sees is just how the shingles meet at the top of the roof. I asked them to put it in writing and they asked me to give them $50 under the table in cash to put it in writing. Not interested.

Any roofers out there that will give me an estimate regardless...

How did you make out with the storm surge? Wasn't your new home near a canal?

We got about 14 inches of water in the basement. Can't say why, but we faired better than most on our block. Most people measured their water in feet in the basement and some got water on the main/first floor.
