Not to get all Walter Greenspan on you but the halmet of East Garden City is not part of the Incorporated Village of Garden City. Same for Garden City South, etc.
Lara - you can go to BJ's whenever, get a free pass and check it out. I put up with Costco because their store brand (Kirkland) is awesome, but it can be a mess over there.
i use the Westbury store and checked out the GC store this morning. It seems to have a few higher end items that I don't recall seeing in the past but it is essentially the same store and plenty large enough.
the roosevelt field Costco is a nightmare. there are NO good times to go there! if you can safely park your car - if - then you have to fight to get in, shop and get out. it's absurd!
i'm a costco fan - but this particular store makes it especially hard to do so. but, can't check out the bj's until this membership is going to expire next summer.
Go online and get a free 60 day membership to BJ's.
On the real, does this new BJ's Warehouse location have a gas station? There are only 2 on the island with gas stations (Farmingdale and Freeport) so another one would be awesome, especially with how they handled the gas issue after the storm.
I do find it odd they would build one by the mall when the Westbury warehouse is only 10-15 minutes away from there.
