When I was a wee lad I lived in Halesite for a minute, my father would take me to a state park that must have been close by. The park had a castle or fortress that kids could play on with cannons and stuff. I believe in was at or near a beach, as I vaguely remember the dunes....

Any ideas? What I would really love is a picture....

Much appreciation for all the pics of L.I.... Sometimes I just want to chuck it all and return to home.....maybe someday.
