Thank you guys for all of your wonderful photographs. The Bayard Cutting Arboretum has always been one of my favorite places. Can you imagine growing up there?

Wow. I grew up in Central Islip, LI and have lived in the Poconos for the past 12 years. I've always said I hate LI and would never go back, but these great pictures remind me of all the wonderful scenery still left on LI that I forgot about. I'm very happy with where I live now, and still would never move to LI mainly due to the outragous cost of living, but still, I have to give credit where it is due. You guys did a great job taking pictures of some fantastic scenery. Where I grew up Connetquot Park was literally my back yard. My parents would take us to the arboretum in Connetquot Park, Sunken Meadow Park, Hecksher Park, Robert Moses, and when I got older my friends and I would go crabbing out east. Thanks for the pics, and I sincerely hope that the remaining rural areas of the island stay that way forever.

Beautiful pics Kuota. They are so crisp and reminds me of fall.
Somebody should do a photo tour of various LI towns. "Main Street",typical houses, school, etc.
