Ive never really left Valley Stream, always in the highway to and from Roosevelt Field, never any other towns in Long Island. So its cool to see what they look like.

Keep it up, what towns do you think your going to do next?
bellmore a nice town? that's funny lol. South Bellmore is gorgeous. North Bellmore has a lot of crime and 2 gangs now. I grew up there and I have seen it change over. It's quite sad. USED to be quite a lovely place.

Can't imagine anything like that being there!! Then again, there was an active Army base around the block when I was a kid, and that seems equally far fetched in North Bellmore nowadays.
I grew up right there...thing was practically in my backyard...army base I mean

Wish I could have clicked on the pics to see them better.. they look good though. I remember camping at Wildwood near Wading River. Seems as though most of the pics were posted months ago! Great pictures and even though I moved from LI as soon as I went to college and never came back...there are good memories. Does anyone remember Patricia Murphy's Candlelight Restaurant? What town was that in? My parents used to take us to a restaurant called Dahlstrom's Smorgasbourd... Scandanavian. As a kid, I was just in the back seat...wish I had experienced LI as a young adult...would have been driving then.

Thanks Bob The last two were taken with different camera's. The very last was taken with a old Canon G3 Digital, the second to last was a Canon DSLR Rebel.

Looks like the G3 still does very well. I've had 3 Canon's and never was disappointed.
