How many times can you see Washington vs. the Giants in the 1986 Playoffs? Counsel for the defense rests.

sorry about your loss. I would monitor eBay and Craigslist for your camera. Whoever stole your camera might try to sell it.

OP, if you get you videos back, my faith in humanity will be restored.
However, since this is LI, I doubt it.

Funny coincidence - I just bought a FLIP from a guy on CL last weekend. When I got it - I started going through it and found some VERY VERY VERY sexy videos on it. I'll tell you what - you DM me for my PayPal email - we'll negotiate a fair price - and I'll send you the camera so you too can see what is on it (and we don't have to tell the Mrs.)

Guarantee you it was an LIRR employee --- probably the one who was working your train the night you lost it.

It's highly unlikely another passenger took the bag, went through it, and turned it in at the Lost and Found at Penn. More likely at the last stop when the ticket takers, conductors, etc are checking the train, one of them found it, rustled through it looking for valuables/cash, took your camera, and then turned it in on their next run to Penn.

Sorry you lost the camera and videos. It sucks when you lose something of sentimental value.

I hate to pour salt on a wound by why did you leave your briefcase on the overhead bin that late at night? That was so careless of you, especially since you were tired and could not keep an eye on it. If you had valuables in the briefcase you should have left it on the seat next to you. I hope this is a lesson to you and anyone else reading this.

Here is my advice to people taking the LIRR, DON'T LEAVE VALUABLES IN THE OVERHEAD BIN. If it is not a crowded train leave it on the seat next to you FACING THE WINDOW not the isle. If it is a crowded train then put it in between your feet. Yes it will be a little bit uncomfortable but chances are you will not forget it.
