Alot of Long Islanders(including myself) live comfortably on $70-80k/year. Besides, with her salary, their household income would be over $100k, with no children. She's not looking to "get rich", just be comfortable. IMO, a young couple, a horse, and a pitbull can survive fairly well on $100k
