F that. Rush transcend all. If 2112 comes on the radio on my way to work, work can expect me to be about 20 minutes late.
Imagine skipping work altogether, and taking a "Passage to Bangkok". Rush is amazing. Remember first hearing them freshman year in high school. Been a fan since.
I'm not a big fan of Jones Beach concerts. I'm getting too old to risk sitting in the rain.
I was at a concert there a few years ago and a terrible storm came through - lightning actually hit the lightning rod on the arena. The crowd was forced to evacuate so we just sat in the car drinking (except for the DD) until they let us back in, and I was able to sneak the remnants of a 12 pack in under my poncho. Good times
I like the fact that you can tailgate at a Jones Beach concert the way you can at a sporting event.

The tailgating aspect does add to the experience. I've been caught in one rainstorm, nothing terrible like you've been in.
I have to admit listening to Stevie Nicks on a misty, foggy evening added an ethereal feel to her music.
Suprised no one is stoked for Jimmy Buffet playing 2 nights...
