May all those who lost their lives on this date 20 years ago, forever rest in peace.

The writing was on the wall, unfortunately no one paid enough attention.

Very true. I guess one "positive" that came from the '93 bombing was that many people who were there in '93 and on 9/11 urged fellow employees (especially in tower 2) to evacuate anyway even though they were being told to stay at their desks.

That was what saved a friend of mine. Please remain in the building was what he was told. He essentially said " *!*!*! all the info they are putting out, I am out of here." He lived to tell about it about it, but sadly, while he knows that all had the same opportunity, he feels badly about those who perished through no fault of his and it has impacted him every day since.

God grant them all peace.

I can't believe it has been 20 years. The anniversary doesn't seem to be a big deal in the media

This is actually true. I had a friend who was there that day. I actually went to pick her up...I remember during the ride home telling her that if they really wanted to bring the building down they would fly a plane into it. I never thought it would happen though.
