My husband is being transferred to Melville, NY later this year and our family will be moving to Long Island. We prefer to live around other Christians. I have looked here and other places on the net and can only find conversations about where Jewish live. What are the most Christian communities on Long Island?

christians are all over the place - there are many, many churches of many different denominations. The reason for all the questions about jews is because of the sabbath - if you are sabbath observant you need to be walking distance of your synagogue, and if you keep kosher you need kosher butchers and other stores where you can buy kosher products. You will not have a problem finding a church

Really? That doesn't seem like a very Christian attitude to have about your neighbors?

Is this a troll thread? I find it hard to believe this can even be real.

There are witch stores and festivals for witches and other people who exeperience the occult and black magic in long island and many are found in suffolk county, ny. You must be very careful. There are also places like mt. misery and aztecca woods where many things can happen. My sister goes to church in suffolk county, ny and it is concerning.

So numerous threads asking where the Jews live are A-OK but this one is a troll??? REALLY?!

The most Christian towns on LI are Garden City and Manhasset which, if you are just moving here, I suspect will be outside your budget.

On LI, like most places, Christians are the majority. However, ANYWHERE on LI you will not find that people talk about their religion very much, even when they are devout. It's just not done. Keep that in mind as you consider this relocation.

What does this have to do with the OP wanting to live with other christians? The OP did not ask about anything having to do with witches.

To the OP I am sure you will find an adequate representation of all the faiths reguardless of the town you choose. To those of you obsessed with alledged demonic practices, get some professional help.

I would think that Roosevelt and Hempstead are predominantly Christian too, with a sprinkling of Muslims. What specific form of Christianity does the OP want to live near?

I don't think that anyone ought to be deciding where they live based on the religion on their neighbors but I do find the post suspicious since it is the OP's first post ever on the forum and it seems inflammatory in its nature.
