I agree with Umbertos.

They just opened a place in Bellmore, and so far everything especially the pizza has been great!

There are many Umbertos os it is hard to know which ones are affiliated with the original in NHP. Notice there is a Prince Umbertos in Franklin Square & Wantagh. I am told those are not part of Umbertos. Hence the Prince part.

The one in Wantagh is not prince. It's a satellite of the Original in NHP.

There are so many Umbertos, it is so hard to tell which is real, which is imitation. We did go to Umbertos in Pembroke Pines ,Fl when we lived there. Went just 2x , end 99 & early 2000. never went back as it was not the same at all. Guess it is the water possibly

we moved here in august and we've had more pizza in that time then we've had in our lives... and smiling the whole way!

grimaldi's pesto pie is my all time fave. mama theresa's grandma slice is a very decent second.

but that's a newbie's vote.

Where is Grimaldi's? I've heard of it but never have seen it.

Coliseos is good; LOVE Carnival on 347 & Porto Bello also on 112.
Has anyone ever tried The Pie (Pizzeria Napolenta)? I swear it's like a hidden treasure, it's in the little village Down Port. The pizza is unlike any other i've tried. It's SO good.

I have to get out of PJS & PJ and try some more pizza!
PJS native here - thumbs up on this post. I worked @ Colosseo as a teenager & sister works @ the Pie. We've got some great pizza!

As far as outside of PJS, I really enjoy Caffe Amici in Selden, and if I feel like going out west, Umberto's is excellent too.

There's a lot of great pizza on LI.
