At a recent zoning board meeting they were back trying to get approval once more. Why cant the residents have final say as to what gets built in their town? 25 A is already over built beyond its capacity to handle all of its current traffic.JMHO That intersection is in grid lock at rush hours now.

Why should the residents have a say as to what is built on private property? If the build meets code then the it should be allowed. If you want to have the say about some one else's property then you should buy it yourself.

Ironically, the owner could, without a variance, build a strip mall in that location and have one of the stores be a 7-11. Instead, he wants to erect a free standing 7-11 and has been held up by the town for a long time now. If he gets tired of this nonsense he may just go ahead with the higher density higher traffic option.

Off topic, but do any of you know what the hold up is with the Chalet? Such a shame that place is wasting away. It has such potential besides being valet parking for Mill Pond.

Oh I like the 7-11 very much. My sons they like to stand outside the 7-11. Is good place. Is nice in center port?
