Thank a Vet this weekend (Poland: sales, home, military)

Please do the nation a favor and for just a minute forget about Walmart sales and Kmart sales and the summer weekend, (ok not so summery).

Buy a poppy from a Vet and say a quick thank you to them for their service to the county. You owe them that respect.

I thank ALL MILITARY everyday when I see them, not just one day out of the year and I do not limit my thanks to current Military either, I also thank those who served in the past.

As a former Marine with one son on active duty in the corps I encourage everyone to sign up with the wounded warrior monthly donation program. $20.00 a month is nothing compaired to the sacrifices our troops make everyday. God bless America land of the free, home of the brave!!!!!

Also before setting off loud fire works be advise that loud noises can affect returning wounded Vets with PTS disorders

I was boasting yesterday how I saved $120 a month by cutting Poland Spring, making daughter take over her cellphone bill and lowering cable bill. Then I realized to not give $19 mo to the WWP would make me a bigger fool than I already am. Thanks for the nudge Garvey.

You are a wonderful example, that is why I started the thread to begin with, we tend to lose sight of the great sacrifices that the military made and continue to make daily for us and that includes the family members too.
