East Williston to MidTown (Oyster Bay, Mineola: garage, train, discount)

Hello can someone please let me know what the approximate travel time from East Williston to MidTowm Manhattan via public transportation would be. Thanks so much!

When I used to work in midtown, it used to take me aprox 40 to 45 minutes by LIRR if you catch the train from East Williston station. I had a friend in Plandome so I ocassionally parked in his drive-way and took the train from Plandome (it took me only 30-35 minutes from there).

I drive now everyday to Tribeca, it takes me on a good day 1 1/2 hour.

East Williston is on the Oyster Bay line. First stop after mineola going east. I take the Oyster Bay line each day and there is a limited number of trains. Since you are so close to Mineola you might want to park or get dropped off in Mineola which would at least give you flexibility in the amount of trains you can take in and out of the city. Mineola has a parking garage that I have used many times that is not packed at rush hour and i think you get a discount if you get a monthly pass it's 5 a day without a discount.
