Hi,

We're looking for nursery schools for our soon-to-be 2-year-old... Can anyone tell me which are generally considered the more "highly-regarded" schools for little ones? (Anywhere on the North Shore or the middle section of Nassau County are fine; South Shore is too far for us.)

Thanks!

Can I recommend Friends Together Nursery School in Port Washington? Outstanding program, small class size, very active director, lots of parent involvement welcomed but not required, I could go on and on. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, or PM if you would feel more co****table.

Default Best Nursery Schools

The best nursery school program I have found on the north shore is Buckley Country Day School - a private, independent preschool, elementary and middle school in Roslyn, Long Island. Excellent !!!
