We're looking for nursery schools for our soon-to-be 2-year-old... Can anyone tell me which are generally considered the more "highly-regarded" schools for little ones? (Anywhere on the North Shore or the middle section of Nassau County are fine; South Shore is too far for us.)
Can I recommend Friends Together Nursery School in Port Washington? Outstanding program, small class size, very active director, lots of parent involvement welcomed but not required, I could go on and on. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, or PM if you would feel more co****table.
What about East Woods in Oyster bay
East Woods School - private pre-school, elementary and middle school on Long Island, New York (http://www.eastwoods.org/home/home.asp - broken link)
Well I know you said South Shore is too far for you...but Wee Friends in Wantagh is the best Nursery School in my opinion. I went there @ 3 years and I was already learning spanish.
