I disagree to an extent. We just spent ten days in Naples and St Petersburg and aside from one day where it was raining did we have a day of humidity like here where my shirt and boxers were stuck to me all day. Weather was mid to high 80's with a nice breeze. Orlando is absolutely disgusting as the humidity is brutal and a breeze in non-existant.

Of course there are some days that are mild and the humidity isn't bad. But having lived there for years IMO there are more humid days in the spring and summer months than not, That and the combination of an intense sun makes for some brutally hot days. I really don't miss it at all.

As others have stated it's not as simple as being near the ocean. I recommend everyone take the time to become familiar with physical geography (climatology, environmental science, etc). It gives you a much better perspective on the world.

Is it unique weather? WHy is it? Could it be for other reasons? It is possible that people or other things are effecting the weather? What do the people think?

I do believe much of the weather patterns have been affected by human actions. However, the earth goes in cycles. Not in our lifetimes, but one day the earth will undergo another ice age again. Things like that I do not think are people influenced but to a certain extent I think part of our weather is.
