Just another way LI'ers get hit over the head left and right. Im pretty sure 99% of the firehouses would be found guilty of these same charges. Im glad someone is cracking down.

Las Vegas and New Orleans? Couldn't they at least have done it in Atlantic City and save on transportation costs?

Maybe no fire conventions in AC to use as cover? Besides, why would they try to save money when the taxpayers of the Lakeland fire district were footing the bill...

Luckily these guys don't seem too bright - but I'd bet there are smarter ones throughout LI who could cover their tracks better.
