Sorry dude. The ethnic whites (old school outta NYC italians, irish, jews, etc.) on LI still consider hispanics as low on the totem pole as they do blacks ..

Simply check the numbers and percentages and try to see if Hispanic is no longer a minority or not.

According to the US census 2012 they are roughly 15% of the population of Suffolk and Nassau counties added together.
