I seriously thought with the arrival of February the snow was probably "about done". I returned my boots right after they arrived on February 1 because it seemed an insane purchase. I thought it was "too late" in the season to be buying a pair of boots so why not wait until next year. Immediately after turning them we had the storm Monday and Wednesday.

My son, four, is walking around saying he hates snow and wants spring. He is tired of wearing gloves. All I hear is he wants the playground. Is that due to the fact he is used to a year round playground or kids raised here get that way too about now.

^^ Poor guy! I'm sure he'll adjust. At that age, he's probably still trying to grasp different geographical climates.

We are far from "about done" with snow in any February. Even early March can bring snow, though it usually doesn't last long.
