Hi.

A few years ago someone on here told me of a site to find apartment i guess restate agents use it. i was wondering if any one knows of that site to find a apartment

Most apartments are listed with RE agents.

Here's the site that'll give you access to most listings. (Still saying it's going to be tough in Nassau County with your budget.)

You can also call real estate agents in the area you're looking to move to - sometimes they'll have more available than is listed on MLS. (The place we're in now was actually new-to-market and hadn't been listed yet, but we'd already met with a realtor a few times and she knew what we were looking for, so she called us to see it right away and we grabbed it before the listing even went up online.)

Very true. These days, good rentals go very fast and interviews could be taking place before the general public has a chance to even apply.
