Anyone know if any on the north shore of Long Island near a train station? Budget is 125,000 to 210,000. Looked at Oyster Bay and Glen Cove, even Port Washington. Something in a good neighborhood.

Can't think of anything on the North Shore of Nassau County that would fall in that price range.

How about spacious one bathroom and one bath locations?

Just go on MLSLI and search for coops in Nassau County, then see what fits your price range. It's not rocket science.

As I mentioned in another thread you started, price isn't the only thing to look at when shopping for co-ops or condos. With co-ops you have those pesky maintenance charges, which can go easily go as high as $1,000/mo even in your price range. So it's important for you to know how much you can afford (or qualify for) as a monthly payment (Principal, Interest, Maintenance and Insurance).

Before you go looking, talk to a Loan Officer who has plenty of experience with co-ops and find out what they will lend you. BTW, not all banks deal with co-op purchases.

There are 1-bedroom co-ops in Glen Cove, Great Neck, Oyster Bay, Rockville Centre, and even one in Port Washington in your price range (I looked up to $225k). Several have maintenance charges slightly over $1,000/mo; a handful in Great Neck have m-charges in the $500s, most others are between $700-$800/month. Oh, and there is usually a fee for parking.

There are living complexes in Roslyn along Roslyn Road/north of the LIE - not far from the duck pond. I am not sure if they are co-ops or just rentals. I recently noticed while on the LIRR that at the Roslyn train station there is a complex right there......does anyone know what they are? One would have to just walk up the steps to the train - very convenient.
