We have seen a beautiful home which we finally really love in Islip Terrace and its the first home that we are seriously considering putting an offer on.
Its situated by a massive state park and is off of Connetquot Ave.
Is anyone familiar with this area? Taxes are almost 12k, but the home, I think, Is a pretty good deal as it needs 0 work done.
Any thoughts?
Seems like the schools are decent, and the neighborhood seemed pretty and the homes seemed well taken care of.
To be honest I believe you are overthinking the perfection of the house. LI is a cesspool of straight up ****e development houses. With your background buying a fixer upper in the best place allowing for construction in your budget would suit you best.
Its about 4 blocks north of Manhattan Blvd. Does that help?
I will ask the agent to confirm about the schools. I think it is East Islip though.
Thanks!
call the district and do it yourself.
