I am looking at a early 1900's colonial on LI (North Shore / Nassau County) and love the house. House is around 1,300 sq. feet and is brick but painted an "ikea yellow" - i want to get it painted but have no idea how much it would cost? anybody have an idea or a recommended painting company?
Try and get some ballpark estimates from some true professional outfits. Just give them the specs you used here.
Going forward with any paint job, particularly an exterior job, make sure the painters don't use a sprayer - if they do use one they have to thin the paint which takes out the important pigmentation, and the paint job won't last nearly as long as one where the paint isn't thinned.
Anyone have recommendations for a professional exterior painter?
