Hello. I was wondering if anyone out there had any older pictures of the Smith Haven Mall, pre-1990's would be best. Extra bonus happy points if any one has pictures of Time-Out, the old arcade there, where I spent many hours and quarters.
There was a photo set on Reddit maybe 2 years ago titled something like "An American Mall in the 1980's" and it was actually taken at Smithaven Mall. I remember being surprised at the coincidence. You can see a couple kids in the photos wearing Kings Park HS Baseball jackets. Brought back a lot of memories.
Wow! Some great pictures of the Smithhaven Maill! I still remember looking at the numismatic case at McCrory's when I was 11. Yes, they had quite the collection of silver coinage, indian pennies, etc.
Memories of my youth remind how much the quality of life has plummeted out here in Mall-land.
Not to be nit picky, but I'm not sure all of those are from Smith Haven Mall. Some look like it , like the Sears picture and the shot's that show the brown and white tile floor, but I'm not sure. Thanks for the link though. Now that i think about it there was absolutely some Long Island big hair going on there so maybe it was Smith Haven.

Yeah, I did say I wasn't all that sure since I mostly went to South Shore Mall in that time period. That said, I'd love to see some SSM pics from the '80s and early '90s, but seems to be a lack. Oh, Woolworth's and Captree Corners.
