I'm interested in identifying a gay men's social group for men aged 30-50 on Long Island. Google doesn't help much but I'm sure there are many out there. Any names or websites would be appreciated.
If you go to the GLBT Pride parade in Huntington (June) you will find many social groups. Lesbian gardening, LGBT Car lovers, Gay bowling, ect all thee I have seen there depending on year. It may be your best bet as everyone is in the same place at once.https://liglbtnetwork.org/pride

Thanks so much, grilba. The LI Network is very nice and noble organization but seemingly has a group for everyone imaginable except an English-speaking white man between the age of 30 and 50. If anyone else knows of anything on the island---even a bit more informal---a suggestion, tip, or private message would be greatly appreciated.
Even if bowling is not your thing, it is a great start to find more people. Bowling attracts all sorts, but def. White men just like everyone like to bowl, and Monday Night won't eat up your weekend. The worst that will happen is that you will be exposed to cheap beer and poorly prepared wings.
Hi everyone, the bowling group seems to be "dead," so I would still be interested in a social group for a white gay man in his late 30s. I would also be looking for something unaffiliated with the Gay & Lesbian Center (Long Island LGBT Services Network)
Honestly, if I were you then I would just make plans to move.
There's very little gay scene on LI (outside of Fire Island). Most gay ppl leave LI for more vibrant places by the time they reach that age bracket....so your pickins will be extremely slim.
The only reason to be on Long Island and pay the retarded taxes out here is if you have a family and you want the "good schools". Other than that, your a complete fool for being here.
